This movie has been in a controversy since its beginning. But finally it got released on 25th January. I was so much excited to see this movie especially Deepika was looking stunning in the trailer. I managed to watch this movie somehow and found this a masterpiece of sanjay leela bhansali. The set of this movie is awesome.
PLOT: -
Movie starts with The talks continuing in the court where allauddin brings an ostrich and he puts his desire to marry the then king of delhi saltanat jallaluddin’s khilji’s daughter. At the same time Deepika is seen chasing a deer. There by mistake shaheed gets shooted with arrow and he gets injured. Deepika managed to take good care of him and consequently they fall in love with each other. They get married and come back to mevad. As a custom deepika presents the dance called ghoomar, such an awesome song. Choreography for this song is mind blowing. Deepika is such a gorgeous lady that rajguru tried killing Ratan singh with his arrow but he is caught and is chased away from the state. He shakes hand with allauddin khilji the then sultan of delhi saltanat. He describes the beauty of padmavati( Deepika) to him. And from then alauddin makes his mind to get padmavati. That’s why he attacks on the mevad but he failed, so he decides to betray king ratan singh after becoming his friend and he does so. Even he succeeds in prisoning the king still he couldn’t see padmavati. Padmavati gives proof of her intelligence and brings king back. But in a war allauddin’s slave betrays and shoots arrow on his back. Female warriors of mevad decides to do jauhar( get into fire) .No matter how much effort Allauddin has put to get padmavati but at last he couldn’t get even ashes of her body.

Songs are really awesome and heart touching. Lyrics are well written. Especially ghoomar is a masterpiece in this regard. Binte dil takes second place.

Awesome cinematography by the crew members of this film. Scenes are as lively as it’s happening in the historical period.

This is just an awesome movie. After a lot of highs and lows finally this movie is here. So please go and enjoy the acting of our lovely stars. From my side a big thumbs up to this epic creation.
