This film is based on true story of Padmaavati who lived in Rajasthan. The real name of Padmaavati was Padmini and the story of Padmaavati, she was very beautiful queen at that time and Alauddin khalji knew about this queen and he wanted to met her. But according to Rajasthani culture it is not allowed to met queen so war happened between Khalji and Ratan singh. As a result of war, Ratan singh died and so she committed suicide as Johar with all women. I loved performance of Ranveer singh because of his outstanding acting and Deepika Padukone performance was good. in this movie there are 3-4 songs which are good. This movie is in 2D and 3D effects I recommend to watch this movie in 2D only. About cinematography, Sanjay leela bhansali showed awesome movie and it is visually good.
