Plot
Rani Padmini(Deepika Padukone) is said to be one of the most beautiful women to ever exist. It is the story of love and sacrifice of the Queen Padmini and Rana Rawal Ratan Singh( Shahid Kapoor), the rajput ruler of the Mewar . Unfortunate turn when Allauddin khilji(Ranveer Singh) lustful eyes fell on Padmini.
So he attack on Mewar for Queen Padmini. The Women together commit Jauhar or sati, in the event of the conquering of chittorgarh by Alauddin.
Performance
The movie done very well on the Theatre to set a new record . The total collection of the movie is Rs 143 crore after seven days which is fantastic also collect upto dollar 12 million overseas.
Music
The Song of the movie is not so sootheful to listen except Ghoomar but dance of Ranveer is mindblowing in Khalibali whereas Binte Dil a average song showing personal life of Allauddin khilji.
Cinematography
Cinematography is done by Sudeep Chatterjee who also cinematograph Bajirao Mastani so you can’t doubt upon him.
