Padmaavat, Pride of Indian Cinema

Padmaavat is the finest Bollywood film I have ever seen.

Padmaavat is based on a poem written by Malik Mohammed Jayasi. It is a fictional Poem describing Rajput Pride.

Silom queen Padmavati falls in love with Rajput king Raja Ratan singh. Alauddin Khilji of Khilji dynasty is a womanizer and ferocious conqueror who wishes to conquer the entire globe like Alexander the great.

Alauddin Khilji comes to know about Padmavati’s beauty from one of Raja Ratan singh’s back stabber. Alauddin khilji wishes to see Padmavati by going in for a treaty with Raja Ratan singh. Padmavati agrees to show her face in mirror to Khilji to avoid any war. Khilji is not satisfied with this and he invites Raja Ratan singh for dinner and kidnaps him.

Padmavati is told to come to Delhi to foresee the safety of Ratan singh. Padmavati agrees and goes to Delhi . However, due to her shrewd planning, she manages to bring Ratan singh to Chittor. Unable to diges the fact, Khilji wages war on Chittor and Ratan singh is killed

To keep up the Rajput pride, all women of Chittor Dynasty submit themselves to fire including queen Padmavati. This is one of the great stories of sacrifice and valour of Rajputana women.

All the characters played their part well. Alaudding Khilji(Ranveer Signh) looks terriying and he pulled up his part. Deepika as Padmavati looks stunning. Cinematography is like a painting on the screen. Music is soothing to the ears especially the ghoomar song . Khalibali song is one awesome dance number.

Please go and watch Padmaavat or you gonna miss one of the finest creations of art by SLB
