After a lot of controversies, Padmaavat finally got it’s release after 300 cuts by censor board.
Talking about the performance of the actors, it is quite impressive, specially Ranveer Singh’s Performance as Alauddin Khilji is mind blowing. You will hate the character and that’s what actually the purpose of the character. Brilliantly performed by Ranveer Singh. Deepika Padukone, as Rani Padmaavati is also looking pretty good and her elegance and beauty is perfect for the character. Shahid Kapoor’s character, according to me, has not much to offer but whatever he has he did it nice, but that character could have been given more importance.
The plot is simple, nothing much to offer and at some places you will feel like scenes being stretchy, but that’s not Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s fault. What else you can expect after 300 cuts in a movie, right?
The direction of the movie is quite impressive and after all it’s a Sanjay leela bhansali’s film you will not be disappointed by its direction. The places, the fort, every location, dance sequences eapecially ghoomar, etc. everything was done brilliantly and just like Ramleela and Banjirao Mastani.
Overall, the movie doesn’t disappoint you and is quite Impressive.
