Laloo is Lalloooo!

Hello, guys and gals. I remember, once upon a time, there was an accusation that I have been doing only B grade movies. Well, I am on a repenting mode this year, so I used all my contacts (not the ones of the Ray Ban kind) and saw the most hyped movie of the year, yes, you got it right, Padamshree Laloo Prasad Yadav! Please bear with me, if I cannot tell you the proper story of the movie or such, because you see, I was never good in college on destruction analysis too.

I still cannot understand how people can make a jack ass turkey out of such a good idea. There is this girl Padmashree, who suddenly finds out that her father had diamonds, (Why, how, who are words strictly not allowed.) and wants them, from an uncle who resides in SA now.

She has a golden hearted hoodlum as a boy fiend Laloo (Sunil Shetty), who suffers from Seesightophobia (yeah right, it?s like he can?t resist anything in a skirt, hail Women?s Lib, 2005!) She comes to SA, and catches the uncle, who dies of a heart attack, because Laloo threatens him with a gun, leaving them with only the knowledge where the bank is, in which the diamonds are stored, but not the bank locker number. (Ho Hum) Well, so you know that a person has hidden something in a bank locker and don?t know the code to it, so.. how do you take that thing from the bang? (It doesn?t matter that the man told the CODE in a dialogue) Simple, you rob the bank. How do you search a needle in a haystack? Simple, burn the bloody barn!

Well, anyhow. Padamshree and Laloo go around searching the biggest Don in SA, the variety that sit in bars and even chauffeurs and bell boy know, and find out Johnny Tony Bush (Gulshan Grover, wasted) and Yadav (Johnny Lever, money is never bad.) Well, these four do rob the bank and steal the diamonds, and now.. they just have to bid the time to take the diamonds out of SA. Did I miss the sub plot that Padamshree seduced Johnny? Forget it, the director forgot it too. Well, but Padamshree and Laloo are fiancé right? It is them that movie revolves around, right?

Enter Laloo?s brains, which give him an idea that if they tell that Johnny was behind the bank robbery, he will be arrested, and they will have a chance to run with the diamonds. Well, Johnny is caught, in prison and ready to face trial. Enter the person for whom this movie is made, Mahesh Manjrekar, the lawyer Mr. Paddu, who fights the case. He acts well, as the hen pecked husband and forced lover, did I tell you that Padamshree seduced him too? Forget it, Laloo seduces Yadav too. (Hail Gay equality.)

The inane and cornball plot goes long and along, as till the script writer is out of good (yes, they are good) comic situations and jokes and finally end with the four people being good friends. As for Laloo Prasad Yadav, yes he does have an appearance in the beginning and the end of the movie. Weep.
