I am Mohit and today I am going to review Pahari mandir, Ranchi.its 8kms far from ranchi station, 5kms from main road, 12kms from airport.all transport facility is avaiable here.ranchi lake is there in bottom of the hill.this hill is 2140feet in height and there is 468 stairs are there to reach the top of the hill and the temple. this place is very crowdy and you will see more crowd in marrieage season because there are many marriage ceremony took place specially in october and january.
Before independence this hill is used to hang freedom fighters so in old days this place is called phansi tongri means hanging hill.thats why on independence day and republic day flag hosting is done and in this year 23jan 2016 on subhash chandra bose birhday worlds largest indian flag hosted on hill of pahari mandir by defence minister Mr.Manohar parikar and chief minister of jharkhand Mr.Raghuvar Das.this flag also attract lots of visitors here now, from the hill the view of ranchi is just awesome.this is the place where you feel great and I really recommend it to everyone but be sure that if you are going with childrens than keep water and lite food items for childrens because there is no shop or stall on the top of hill.
