Pathetic Service: untime delivery, impolite people

There are too many staff hanging around in the showroom but the whole service experience is bad.

They hire some low quality sales staff they wont know much about the products nor would they treat you very well. Then they will not accompany you to the billing. He will just give a slip which will be carried by some person meant to do such errands only(and of course untrained to handle customer). 3 people sitting in the billing counter doing nothing else just billing your product still takes 10 mins! They sit there stifling through files. It reminded me of some govt office. Not much courtesy to you. In fact they ignore till you ask them what’s going on. Then they hand over the printed bill and that’s it. They don’t talk about delivery etc. The customer needs to initiate the discussion and ask them for delivery etc. And then you just walk out of the show room feeling why did you brought the product from them.

For delivery you the guy lands at your place even though you have told him to come at certain time. Reason: Sir I had another delivery nearby your place so I came to your place also.

You ask him to come at scheduled time and he mentions that it will be difficult. Escalated to their show room people. Now there is no single person who takes care of this issue from beginning till closure. Some 4-5 people get involved and every one wants to hear your story but they are not able to help much.

In the end either you give up on it OR just yell at them to sort the things out by themselves else you are going to ask for refund.

In short don’t buy from Pai even if they are giving the best price in town.

( sorry if  I have not written the review nicely; just don’t have energy left to think and write)

After much pain got the delivery of the TV yesterday night at 9 pm. The delivery guy came kept the item and gave me the bill(in return for advance receipt). When I asked for warranty card he asked to call pai. I called the person I was in touch with and he told me that the warranty card would be inside the packing. They don’t open the packing as some customer’s complain that they have not got a fresh piece. He asked me to get the warranty card stamped whenever we are visiting that side.

The packing was not sealed properly and it looked as if it was opened earlier and then packed again. So I opened the box took out everything. To my surprise I found that the polythene packing in which remote and cables were kept had been torn open and there was no warranty card inside!

Today morning I called the guy. He asked me to go ahead with installation and said he will find out the warranty card next day. When I told him that I didn’t like their service at all and how come warranty card is missing, he sounded irritated and started arguing with me about the service levels. I also kind of lost my cool(first their service is bad and then sent a open piece and now the warranty card is missing) and raised my voice( which I think was due as I had already called them 15-20 times for some thing or the other as mentioned above). Now that guy started using street language like’aaj showroom band hai to mein kaise warranty delivery kar do yaar.and so on’.  I tried to reason with him that their service from beginning itself is not good, they didn’t deliver on time, sent a open piece and now misplaced the warranty card but he was not ready to listen. Finally, my wife took over the phone(she is from retail so knows how to handle such people) and got an assurance from him that he will call us back tomorrow morning to let us know about the warranty card.

The samsung guy called today to do the installation but I asked him to call tomorrow as I have lost trust in Pai and don’t want to install the unit without the warranty card( I am thinking of asking them to replace the set if they fail to find warranty card). If things are not sorted out by tomorrow I am even thinking of returning the set and asking for refund.

I am for sure regretting buying it from Pai. I think they are the worst in town.
