One sided series

The series between Pakistan and New Zealand was indeed a one sided and a boring series. The entire series was dominated by Pakistan. New Zealand were without their key players like Shane Bond and Chris Cairns. Actually, there are some exciting players like Nathan Astle and Craig Mcmillan in the New Zealand team, but they were still unable to perform.

The Pakistan side have great bowlers like Akram, Younis and of course the speedy Shoaib Akhtar. It was a very difficult choice for Waqar to drop a player like Akram in the first test. How can u drop a player like Akram, he is an ideal allrounder. He was dropped because the pitch was suited for spinners and Danish Kaneria was played in the eleven.

Pakistan made a huge score above 600 thanks to a superb innings from Inzamam. He made 329. Once 600 runs were scored, there was always pressure on the New Zealand side. The batting was destroyed by Akhtar who first rocked the middle and off stumps with some superb yorkers. The players to suffer were Horn, Harris, Fleming and Richardson. I bet that any player would have been in trouble in handling the yorkers from Shoaib.

The New Zealanders showed some resistence in the 2nd innings when they made over 200. Indeed, it was a very boring match. The commentary was also very awful lead by one and only Ramiz Raja.

The 2nd test was abonded due to fire attacks in Karachi. I think the wickets in Pakistan should improve in order to have a even contest.

I hope that the members of the Mouthshut.com agree with me that the series was a boring one. What u say????????
