We had a small weekend break at Pal Haveli Jodhpur. Must say it is one of the best places we have stayed in all our holidays till now. The staff was very warm and hospitable. They guided us on how to plan our day and the whole trip.
We wanted to experience the true rajasthani cuisine and the staff helped us on those accounts! Though there own restaurant is also a good and decent place to have your meals, and our dinner usually used to be at Pal Haveli itself.
The location is beautiful, very close to Clock Tower, main market, just at the foot hill of the Mehrangarh Fort. Excellent view of the fort from the roof top restaurant of the Haveli. Would definitely recommend Pal Haveli to People planning to visit Jodhpur. A few tips which one can keep handy while visiting Jodhpur:
Must have Makhaniya lassi at Mishri Lal near the Clock Tower. Must have Daal Baati Choorma; we had at a small place. Must have Rajasthani thali at Kisan Bhojnalay. Must have rajashtani pyaz ki kachori at Janta Sweet house; other savories are mawa kachori, makhaniya lassi is also good here. Must carry sun screen lotion, no matter which time of the year you are visiting it. Want to buy rajasthani prints Ladies Suits: Shyam Garments, near the station.
