The Pale Horse is another murder mystery novel by Agatha Christie published in 1961. Again in this novel the author has managed to keep the suspense a suspense.
I suppose this novel is written with the aim to aware the people about all the non-sense things likeDark Arts and another nasty things.
The story begins when an elderly priest Father Gorman is murdered and also it is found that before this murder the priest was present at the death bed of a woman who revealed some secrets to the priest, but what were those secrets no one happens to know except some linkage to a one time pub calledThe pale Horse.
The story moves on with the young art lover and author Mark Easterbrook who tries to lift the curtains from the mystery shrouding the death of the lady and the priest and also some other weird things that caught his notice.
The suspicion falls on three ladies who presumely perform some acts in their place calledThe Pale horse like talking to spirits, causing the death of any person just by performing some dark arts by sitting at their home. But no one is quite sure weather all these things are actually performed by those three ladies and weather it is possible to cause damage to any body sitting remotely.
Mark Easterbrook is suitably supported by police and his girl friend Ginger to find all the loose ends to know about the existence of well organised group indulged in number of murders.
The book is not very interesting as it becomes boring at so many instances owing to the incomprehensible conversation between the chracters of the story that could be due to the storyline of the novel. but still its readable.
