I went to Palegars house, a restaurant in Marathahalli, Bangalore on Friday evening.
A server came to me and asked for the order and I was thinking what to order, then he suggested "Tandoori Fish" and he said that it will be really good. I tried to search for the same item in their menu card and I did not fund it in the menu card. When I received the bill i was shocked to see the price of this dish is RS 450/- only. which is ridiculous.
After 3-5 min he server the same, the dish was NOT HOT, NOT TASTY and that was smelling very badly (Not the fish smell, something else). I said the same to server and he took it back to and came to me saying that Sir, this is really good smell and it is fresh cooked, which I never thought of.
Then I ordered Prwans fry, again he took just 3-5 min to serve the same which is again not hot, not tasty. Then I ordered a Nizam’s Biryani. This time he took little more time (Around 10 min) and served the same. Usually Nizam’s/Hyd Biryani is pretty famous and tasty in a normal restaurant. As this is little different than a normal restaurant, he prepared the Biryani with normal rice (Like Store rice). and that is also very bad in taste.
I have paid the bill for everything and thought of giving the feedback to the person sitting in the cash counter. When I said the fish is too expensive and why didn’t you mentioned the price in menu card, he siad as we serve this only spl occasions, we have not mentioned in the menu card, then I asked why did you sevr me a bad smelling fish, then he said, ok sir thank you, we will inform the person" I really dont understand whom he will complain,
My personal opinion is , never ever go to this hotel, there are many other options in the surrounding area.
