Palghar is a town and a muncipal council located about 100 kms north off Mumbai.On 14th August 2014, Palghar became the 36th district of Maharashtra.It is well connected via road and rail transport.Acts as a divisional head of MSRTC .It is an imporatnt railway station on the Western Railway line of Mumbai Suburban Railway.You can go with your private vehicles, cars, buses are also easily available to see various sights of Palghar.Various places like Chinchani beach, Shirgoan fort, Kelva Beach, Mahim Beach, Kelva fort and many more.
But many of the Mumbaikars as well as the local people go on weekends to celebrate their various functions like parties, bdays, for an outing etc.on these places.But its very sad to say that it has lost its glory.Most of the beaches are not clean, not polluted free, roads are damaged in most of the places, Places are not all safe to travel.The religious glory is also lost. Its significance is deteriorating day by day.More improvements should take place at all stages required for the visitors.Safety is no more seen.+7
