Hotel Pallavi West is a renowned name in Panchkula but the service seems to have deteriorated with time. We had a family get together at hotel Pallavi West two days back but our experience hasn’t been so good. We had pre-booked buffet dinner for ten people as it was my cousin’s anniversary. We were placed at a table where AC was not effective and on complaining, we were told that the AC at that part of banquet hall wasn’t working.
The veg buffet was not a lavish spread and was mainly Indian fare including a small Chinese variety of noodles & manchurian and a live pasta station which served white pasta and paneer. The welcome drink was jaljeera which wasn’t even chilled. Lemon soup was average. Only two snacks were there in buffet- potato fingers and tikki. The menu in buffet was disappointing too as it contained three varieties of dal, kofta gravy(which had no kofta) and arabi. It was surprising to see that not even a paneer dish was included in the main course of the buffet. The food was average and not too great.
On the whole, it was a disappointing experience and not value for money. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
