I had purchased a Panasonic TV through Paytm, and after shifting into my new house I called them for the installation etc.
After some checking, the call centre informed me
As you have purchased through Paytm, your installation is chargeable
They give free installation to all sales through authorised dealers, but Paytm is unauthorised
I asked him, the TV is manufactured by you, so surely you got the money for it. The dealer who sold it through Paytm is also your dealer: if online sales are unauthorised, why dont you stop the dealer instead of harassing the customer?
No use. Spoke to his supervisor, then sent an email also to their customer care
This company is clueless about customer care. This is a lousy way to behave: all of us buy so many items on Paytm or Amazon, this does not mean we can be refused service.
