The service centre at Airoli, Navi Mumbai is run by a bunch of idiots who dont know their job. The proprietor, MR. Santosh Pandey, who runs the service centre should quit and sell bananas on the road because thats what he is fit for.
His team of so called technicians know nothing more than assembly of few parts and wires. I bought a Panasonic Split A/C. Within six months, it stopped working. The technician came and in the course of checking why the blower is not working they screwed up and blew the PCB and the motor of the blower. Luckily under warranty it got replaced.
The second problem came after 11 months but due to delay in reporting my warranty expired. It has taken more than 6 visits by his technicians in more than 18 days to figure out that this time also the PCB is faulty. I must have made at least 50 calls to Mr. Pandey who always had a different excuse to give not knowing the actual fault. All he did was to find fault by trial and error. First Baming the software then the capacitor then PCB and finally giving up and taking away the whole unit away to his workshop.
Calling Panasonic people was of little help. Before you consider to buy Panasonic product in Navi Mumbai, please find out the service centre in detail. As I know for whole of Navi Mumbai and Panvel, Airoli service centre is responsible. If so then you are better off buying other product.
No product is good if cant be repaired. Certainly, Panasonic will loose a lot of customer due to this service centre.
