I have just bought the phone in May 2004. I found it very good by feature, size, key pad and looks, all credit to it. The menu is also very good and easily understandable. The larger screen area is a very rare in such color phones.
The drawback of Panasonic G 60 is that in India you don’t get the download facility from the service providers. The sound volume is also very low and difficult to listen in noisy environment. The phone does not have inbuilt pictures like its predecessor GD 92 has. It is therefore difficult to use it to the full extent. The battery back up is also very less, lasts for a day only. The phone goes dead at any time while charging or browsing sms. Infact the phone went dead recently while in charging cycle.
When I reached the service centre I found that many customers of GD60 coming there for repairs. Please do not buy the phone. Panasonic should see that the phone is improved by providing basic pictures in the phone from factory itself. I also could not get the camera for this model.
