Customer Service is POOR.

I am posting a daily update of the customer service problems with Panasonic. They are so bad at it - if this is how they treat their customers they will die soon. 16th Nov - Its more than 10 hours, since I heard about the call back which was going to come in 10 minutes, so I called them again ... I called the call center and they said they will arrange a call back in 30 mins. 15th Nov - I called the call center and they said they will call me back in 10 minutes.

Updated 15 NOV 2012 - Tomorrow never comes - this saying is very true about Panasonic. I have got promises from Mr Nevse, Mr Sathe and other esteemed personalities - escalation managers supposedly - and they first of all don’t answer the phone, the poor customer service people are the only ones who answer the call. Pansonic, you should take strict action against these people - your brand is being tarnished. Many promises of "Sir you will receive the camera by Monday" have gone fail. I COULD NOT take ANY picture during Diwali - Panasonic, are you going to recreate the Diwali for me? Highly incompetent. Updated on 30 OCT 2012 - The Panasonic poor customer service saga continues.

The red tape makes me feel as if I am dealing with municipal office or driving license office notorious for the ping pong and paperwork demands - (so far Panasonic has not asked for the bribe though). Its almost a month, my camera is still with the service center, they cannot give me a date when they will fix it - they are asking for this paper and that stamp and this receipt and that thing. Posted on 2nd OCT 2012 - Panasonic Customer Service Bueracratic, Red Tape. I called the service center and the person in the service center doesn’t even know that I am calling from Pune which is a city different than Kolhapur, Sangli or Sholapur (she is asking me you are in Pune so are you in Kolhapur, Sangli ... LOL) The warranty certificate and the receipt is needed and then there is red tape - but if the certificate says International Warranty / worldwide Warranty and India is listed at the back why more questions?

First of all the camera has a problem this itself is not good. On top of it, you are asking the customer questions, followup etc. again not good This is not expected of a reputed brand like Panasonic. Message to Panasonic Senior Management - your managers in customer service have a very poor customer service ethic. Do something.
