Since buyign a TV is still a major decision. In India, large size TVs (25’’<) are not as popular than conventional 21’’ . But I made a decision to go for panasonic’s 29’’. Though I had different companies in mind but I shortlisted this one.
I bought the TV from delhi. At the shop, Sony was the only true competetor as in terms of picture quality. But Sony price wise is not good.
I bought this TV in dec03. Since then it was working fine till june05. In june, the TV had a yellow strip (patch) on the screen. I went to the auth. servive centre. They took 1 month time to allocate the problem & the faulty part. But the part is not available with the company. So leaving the set for whole month, the problem has not being rectified till date. Any how, I don’t have any issue regarding the picture or sound quality, but if u r spending 35000 RS, you should think of after sale service.
