I purchased a Panasonic Viera TH-40A400D LED, as the salesman told me that it had a better backlight refreshing rate(1200 BLS) than the TV I had planned to buy.
The Samsung UN55H6400. The result being a better viewing angle and smoother gaming. Was this right, or have I been duped, as Ive seen the Samsung gets a very good rating here and I cant seem to find any reviews of the Viera model I purchased?
The look of the Viera interface(Life+ Screen) is rubbish compared to the Samsung Smart Hub. Final question: I had an old LG 50in Plasma and went LED to use in a bright room, but the Viera seems to also have glossy screen despite being an LED screen! Frustrating!
Cheers, thanks in advance for your thoughts.(By the way the Viera picture is very good, but I cannot help feeling the Samsung would have been just as good.)
