Purchased this product in 2008 and using it since last 12 years., . sounds unbelievable but its true
When I purchased the unit, during initial days it had a problem of faucet leakage. As mentioned by other reviewers, Panasonic service didn’t respond. I wrote series of emails and complaints to get the work done somehow.
When cartridge replace light started blinking, I called Panasonic service. I noticed that they just replaced pre-filter cartridge and charged too heavy amount for service and visit. In addition, they kept on forcing to take AMC which is another cost burden.
Next time when the cartridge light started blinking, I searched for spares on Amazon or local repair shops and found that the spares are readily available. I just did the cartridge replacement myself. Pre-filter cartridge replacement is very easy. Even the inside parts like RO membrane, carbon filter and UV lamp are very easy to replace. This way I kept on doing the maintenance and the machine is running fine since then without any trouble.
The basic machine build quality is very nice which helps in the long-run. Hence don’t rely on company service. Do the maintenance yourself and enjoy long life of the product
