Phew. this is my first lcd purchase and buoy after lot of research for the last one week I decided on this television PANASONIC VIERA L32U30D.

considering the fact the enormous options of LCD, LED, PLASMA tv’s available at reasonable prices in the market these days it was really tough to narrow down on one esp the features they list would be the same unless you look into it in more detail. so here we go let me tell you the pros and cons of this television in layman’s terms.

  1. full hd 1080p- awesome video clarity . the television is meant for hd videos 720p or 1080p and its a real treat to watch.even though the screen size is bigger I didnt have any problems in clarity while playing standard sd videos as well .thats including the one received from cable tv(not hd).

  2. connectivity- another aspect that made me to chose this product was the huge range of connectivity options it had. 3 hdmi ports, 2 usb ports, pc connect(vga), dlna, media server, wifi, sd card .what more can u ask for. the pc connect lets you connect your laptop or desktop to tv .this helpd me in not buying another flat lcd monitor for my pc.so even if I had to watch a youtube video I can just watch on my big screen.(samsung, sony, lg didnt have this variety of connectivity options as this the same price range)

3.Video files support: the usb slot allows you to watch movies, listen to songs or view images.i read few reviews and was a bit concerned about the video format and codecs support, basically panasonic viera had very little codec support the previous versions but soon pulled up its socks to compete with other brands. yes this model truly supports all video formats mkv, mp4, avi, divx, xvid, .vob and many more. threw everything on it and didnt have any problems playingback.

4.audio_ this could be the only con but defenitely not a major one.infact I compared all the led lcd televisions sound and couldnt find much difference.the audio quality was not poor but not good too.this could be cos I owned a bulky tube tv before and it had a woofer.with the sleek designs lcd led offers these days we should compromise on speakers.neverthless you can always connect external speakers.

overall I found the television best in the market at the moment.rich clarity, variety of features, 178 degree viewing angle, huge connectivity options and above all panasonic.go for it dont even think.
