Disgusting Service Levels -PANASONIC INDIA

For the Kind Attention of the CEO / VP Marketing & Sales, Service and Distribution - PANASONIC INDIA


Dear Sir,


I wish to bring to your notice the disgusting quality of your After Sales Service and the absolutely nightmarish experience that I am currently going through at Pune at the hands of your service centre located Off Bund Garden Road, Opposite TMTC, Pune 411001 . This is certainly not expected from an MNC of Global repute.


I purchased a 42 Inch Plasma TV TH-P42 V20D from M/s SAKURA ELECTRONICS, Shop No 4, 5 & 6 Daulat Complex, Opposite Symantec


vide Invoice No B-1809 dated 28 December 2010 paid for in Cash.


The TV worked superbly for 4 years and it had become a part of the family so to speak, after which it broke down abruptly in the last week of September 2014. I registered a complaint on your Toll Free Number and was allotted a Complaint No PI-ASC-1410-046581 on 5th October 2014.


The specific complaint was that the TV refused to switch on and gave 4 repeated Blinks which was also registered in the above complaint


We were then visited by a Service Mechanic in the first week of November, after we had called the said agency at least twice or thrice who informed me that probably the internal circuitry including the motherboard had collapsed and further diagnosis would be required at the Service Centre.


For about a week after that there was complete silence until I once again called up the Service Centre located at Connaught Circus, Bundgarden Road Opposite TATA MANAGEMENT TRAINING CENTRE(TMTC) PUNE 411001 who sent a Van to pick up the TV.


After that it has been a complete nightmare for me. I have been following up repeatedly for the past 3 months and have been given different stories stating A) Parts are not available B) Part has been ordered and C) Parts are in transit and D) TV is under Testing . The said Service Agency is . managed by Mr. Arvind Inamdar M 98811 23563.


There has still not been any feedback from Mr. Inamdar or his team of so called Mechanics. I fear the worst that the TV has been damaged and these people are covering up by giving different stories.


I was certainly not expecting this level of atrocious and poor quality of service from PANASONIC. A technical fault does not take almost 4 months to solve.


I humbly request you to look into the matter and expect your solution at the earliest.


I would be grateful if the issue is solved at the earliest.
