I was interested in buying sofa, and I explored visiting several malls, showrooms, and shops. I was not happy with the design and quality of the sofa comparing with the price tag. Or on the other hand, if I liked sofa, the price was very high, and not within my reach. That is when I started looking out for a direct manufacturer to develop a customized sofa within my range.
I browsed through several website to lookout for a sofa manufacturer. I spoke to a few manufacturers, and in some cases, I saw the samples. One of the manufacturers in my search list was PENSEE LEATHERS, owned by Satish Rai. I told him I want to see a sample, and he gave one of his customer’s contacts, and I went to that customer’s house to see his sofa set as a sample for me.
After taking decision, I placed order with him for two pieces of three-seater and two-seater that had stainless steel legs (8 nos). He delivered sofa before the scheduled date.
There was one concern about the height of the sofa, on which tall people got comfort, while short/medium heighted people will have low comfort. I gave my feedback to Satish about this matter.
While I gave my feedback, Satish discussed with his people, and assured me that he can reduce the leg size by two inches. He had to place new order for 8 stainless steel legs with the reduced height by 2 inches. He called me again after 4 days to work on the legs of sofa. He worked on the two-seater sofa to lower the seat level. While the work was on, Satish and I/my wife again discussed to take a decision if only one unit needs to be lowered, and keep the other as it is…Finally we decided to lower the seat level for only one piece, and left the other piece as it is.
I was happy with PENSEE LEATHERS with the way they take the customer feedback, action against customer feedback, adaptable to the required change/specifications, promptness in delivery, and updates at interval during the development phase.
