I had been waiting for a long time to shop at the trendy Panatloon store. But last month when I did, at NOIDA, I was really disappointed. There’s very little choice in terms of design and the clothes don’t seem to be tailored to Indian bodies. And the moment you enter the store, you are hounded by the staff. They are always at an arms length. Its annoying!
The collection in itself was not good. The same design was slightly tweaked and produced in different materials to produce ’new’ designs.
I was apalled by the collection of formal shirts in the Men’s section. Nothing that one could wear to work!The Women’s section was worse. No choice. The cotton shirts seemed like they would fall apart the moment you touched them.
Anyway, I bought a short cotton dress for myself that’s in vogue these days. Paid 1200 bucks and it gets so easily crumpled! Personally I wouldn’t go back to any Pantaloons store again.
