Pantene Pro-V Nourishing Care Shampoo is like an old friend. Dependable, comfortable, always comes through in a pinch. Unlike an old friend, it does not suffer hurt feelings or pout when I choose to pal around with another for a while. In other words, it’s wonderful stuff!
I first discovered Pantene Pro-V Nourishing Care Shampoo a couple years back. Tired of the thrashed, dry hair most store-bought shampoos deliver, and unable to afford the higher-end products available at salons, I gave it a whirl. So glad I did!
The first thing I noticed about Pantene Pro-V Nourishing Care Shampoo is the scent. Soft, sweet, not overpowering. The texture is thick, easy to manage. Like most shampoos, it is concentrated, so a little dab’ll do ya. But the real selling point here is the way it leaves my hair feeling--soft, shiny, hydrated, and easy to work with, without leaving a greasy, coated feeling. It’s one of the few shampoos out there that doesn’t leave my scalp dry or my hair loaded with static, should I not condition. However, I recommend picking up the corresponding conditioner, too. Why? Because, though it isn’t touted as such, it’s an incredibly effective detangler. My hair rats up with zero provocation, and the Pantene Pro-V Nourishing Care Conditioner cuts through those tangles with ease, and leaves my hair easy to brush through all day.
In all, I recommend Pantene Pro-V Nourishing Care Shampoo highly. While I do wander away now and then, taken in by the claims of other shampoos, I always wander back to my old friend.
