I have to admit. being from the the UK, I had been using Pantene for the past 6 years Intially I had no problems with it. It made my hair soft and shiny but the trouble started when they started improving the product every few months or so. The latest addition to the Pantene range is Pantene Clarifying shampoo, which I tried and regretted using. It completely ruined my hair. Not only did I suffer hair loss but I also found that it stripped my hair and scalp of natural oils. I have come to my senses now and stick only to milder shampoos, but I wouldnt recommend Pantene at all.
When I visited India back in August, I decided to buy my shampoo there, as opposed to taking it with me from London. while washing my hair (using pantene) I did notice that the composition of the shampoo varied greatly and all in all, I wasnt that impressed. It didnt even compare to the earlier brands of Pantene that I had used 6 years ago.
I think sometimes in their bid to stay ahead of market competition, the manufacturers tend to forget the products orginality. They continue to reinvent the product, claiming it can perform yet another miracle but forgetting to metion that it will be to the detriment of the consumers, i.e. us.
I dont know about you guys, but Ive now decided to wrack my brains and try to recollect all those invaluble natural beauty tips my grandma gave me all those years ago!.
