I had heard about this place from friends, so decided to go there with my cousins.
Well as it was a sunday it was packed, so we chose to sit out side, 6 of us cramped in place meant for 4 people. Later we sifted to bigger place, and guess what the waiter transferred the water glasses to the new table...how were we supposed to know which glass was used by whom...we had to ask them to get fresh glasses for all of us.
Later we ordered for starters, tandoori alloo, chicken tikka and tandoori chicken. It took half an hour for the food to be served, and after such a long wait we got to know that it was not even hot and the Tandoori alloo was not good to taste either. For dinner we ordered Veg gobi kheema mutter, which was aweful and tasteless...the chicken dishes (kadai chicken & chicken makhani) were not that great either...and the quantity was not satisfying, also the food was not served hot.
We were really disappointed with the food and it was not at all worth the money spent, just coz the place is located in bandra it is over priced.
I guess this is just a hype created coz the restaurant is owned by a so called celebrity. You could get better punjabi food at any other restaurant at a much less cost.
Sorry to say but I would not recommend this place to any one, especially punjabi’s, coz this is exactly not how punjabi food taste’s like.
