Hehehe. Yesterday itself I wrote a comment saying that I may not write any more reviews and look at me, I am already here and also writing a review :-). Well lemme tell you something. I am not writing this review cause I like writing reviews but I guess sitting here and listening to this music I couldn’t stop myself but to write something about the band/album.

Now about the album - ’’Parachutes’’ by ’’Coldplay’’. Well the album contains 10 tracks. All the tracks are worth listening. But some of them just stand out. Tracks like ’’Shiver’’, ’’Spies’’, ’’Yellow’’, ’’Trouble’’, ’’Don’t Panic’’ are just too good.

The songs are not dance numbers but the music is kind of soothing. Its soft. Its excellent for bedroom listening. The guitar tunes are just too good. Chris Martin. His voice has some intoxication. He hits the bulls eye, changes his pitch effortlessly. Don’t know if anything can be better than this.

Loved the Guitar in Shiver, Spies, Yellow, Piano in the song Trouble.

Such an album from a band hardly out of college seems like music has a bright future (if they carry on this way and people don’t start walking out from the group). They give a feel of a refined pearl jam and the their music has the effect of pink floyd. Numbers are most effective after 2 bottles of beer ;-). All I can say is rush to the music stores and get urself an album :-).

Singing out

I never meant to cause you trouble

I never meant to do you wrong

And ah, well if I ever caused you trouble

Oh, no I never meant to do you harm

They spun a web for me

They spun a web for me

They spun a web for me
