I recently had a craving for some good briyani when in Hyd having heard about it all my life. My friend suggested going to Paradise where he said the food would be great and they had a decent menu.
Let me start of by stating that if you are looking for ambience and a posh environment, then this is not the place for you. here at Paradise, you will see businessmen and workers sitting side by side and enjoying some of the best food in the city.
The place is a no frills establishment that pride themselves on what they send out of the kitchen.Though it was lunch time, we were promptly greeted at the onset and given us a choice of where to sit. We choose to sit upstairs (on the inside) given that it was close to 100 deg (felt like 200deg ) and humid. The waiter was prompt and courteous and took our drink order almost immediately. He then proceeded to explain to us the various choices on the menu (realizing of course that we were not from the area).
The mutton briyani was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous (almost Texas style) and the price was just right. Lunch for two people (including water and a bottle of pop) cost under Rs 450 (excluding the tip) and given the quality of service provided, I would definitely go back here again and also recommend this place without any reservations.
