Pramasivan - no third eye
Ajith starrer movie, pairing with laila after Dheena. After stupendous success of chandramukhi, vasus next venture. As hyped this movie is not that great but should be appreciated for its approach on different genre of targeting the terrorist instead of revenge against a particular villain which had become a beaten to death story.
The story is simple and straight forwarded.A manipulative Police cop Prakashraj uses the effort of Ajith , who is awaiting a death sentence in a mission to erase all the terrorist force in Tamil nadu. He goes one step ahead of even planning to kill ajith after the mission.How ajith succeeds in his mission , his romance with laila and how he wins his counterpart Praksh is going to be the 3 hrs story of paramasivan.
This story was already handled by vijaykanth and arjun in different getups. but for ajith this is more of relaunching his career. There is Jayaram as, a CBI man and his assistant -Vivek, who smells something fishy, and are in the trail of Paramasivan.Laila is ajiths love interest and is there to move the scenes and bring a little comedy by her childish acts.
Ajith has become very thin , pale and is in the verge of becoming next dhanush.its advisable if he puts on some weight. The action scenes comprising of shooting the terrorist from the hotel and ECR stunts with bike racing are really stunning and enjoyable. he looks every bit a dashing and debonair actor that we know of and in good form. but his character is more of a remote control operated by Praksharaj which makes us wonder who the real hero is.Laila’s encounters in the aircraft, action scens, Viveks comedy , Climax scene with prakash, laila and ajith are worth mentioning.Viveks comedy was good and was really kindling the laughing bones after a long time.
There are too many loose ends. The way prakash tracks the terrorist is not mentioned clearly, the way ajith goes from ecr road to ooty , the poor graphics with blasting showing humans flying in air, suicide bombers going in the same way with the same uniform is quite illogical. There is no need for a detailed flashback of ajith with songs and other stuffs, Ragasiya song in Jail dreamt by prakash is heights of stupidity and is for sure for prolonging the film.
But for the above flaws the movie is good and is real break for ajith to revive his career path.
