I purchased a 1/2 HP DC Water Pump with brushless motor from Tachometric Controls/ Paras Green. I paid Rs.20000/-+ in advance and waited for more than a month. The communication was very poor and they never gave proper response for my interest in their other products like wind turbine and bicycle hub motor.
After long waiting and a series of mails I received their product with an appearance of an item from the "Scrap" and having GREEN color.
On installation the pump did not move. On inspection it was found that the impeller is stuck due to rust. I cleaned the rust and made it work after spending two days in repairing. The pump worked for 48 hours over a span of two months and failed.
I requested them to send a spare pump without motor and I can pay for it. They insisted to return the item for replacement or proper rectification of fault. I send the item to the manufacturer spending another Rs.750/-.
After two months and several mails I received the item paying Rs.700/- for shipping charges. The pump was given a BLACK color(black symbol to treat it as dead and bury it). I installed it and spend three days to make it work, it was worse than the condition when I send it to them.
They had not done anything other than pouring black paint over the rusted body in green color. I gave the pump to a mechanical workshop for examining it and found the motor having the worst available bearing and pump that cannot be restored.
