Much has been said and written about Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy. It seemed, various reporters from varied tabloid, set up camp to give a minute by minute of the 9 month pregnancy of Aishwarya Rai. It then seemed, as if Aishwarya’s pregnancy was a 9th wonder of the world. I cannot just imagine what the couple must have gone through during the phase. Pregnancy is a wonderful period in a woman’s life irrespective of economic boundaries, social strata or countries. Every couple especially for the woman, it is a new phase of her life.
Now that she has a baby girl who is a few months old, these tabloids just cant leave her alone. They have now started commenting on her post pregnancy fat, her choice of clothes. What did these journalists expect, that immediately after birth Aishwarya would step out with a figure of 36-24-36? Or perhaps maybe when the clock strikes 12 at midnight, she would transform from a just delivered woman to a swan like cinderella.
I would say hats off to Aishwarya who like every other working woman is balancing both her commitments and her family responsibilities.
Aishwarya Rai irrespective of her social standing, fame, money etc is at the end of the day a human being just like everyone of us. And just like us she too is probably fighting with the post pregnancy flab and trying to get rid of it the healthy way instead of going under the knife for overnight results
So all you nosy and trashy journalists, back off and let her enjoy her new family. If her family doesnt have problems with her looks and fatness, then who are we to comment.
