I have been a subscriber to Parenting magazine since before my son was born in June of 2001. As a first time mom, I rely heavily on the advice this great magazine gives, in addition to the product reviews & safety tips.
From the very beginning, when I was pregnant, Parenting had up the minute advice for me on what to expect in delivery. It gave me a lot of little helpful hints like, what to have on hand when the baby comes home, and what is just trendy stuff that I really dont need. And you know what? They were right. Thats why I quickly became a huge fan and have kept up my subscription to this day. Every warning or little tip they give have helped me at some step of the way in this wild and wonderful stage of my life.
Now that my son is two and a half, I find it even more helpful. A couple months ago, I was going nuts and trying not to blow my top with my son. Then I got the issue that contained the article How to survive the toddler years. After reading that article, I realized that Im not the only person going through these trying moments, and that my son is completely normal!
From what books to read, which videos to watch, which toy is best, what to feed a picky toddler, discipline tactics that work, and more information that you dont know you need until its too late; read Parenting magazine! Its helpful, informative, and might just help keep you from throttling your toddler!
