Yesturday I watched a movie i.e Pari in theatre.Talking about the movie, its an horror movie.Talking about the story, the movie begins with a guy named Arnab and a girl named Piyali, they both meet each other to decide whether they can marry one another.After their meeting Piyali went to her house and Arnab along with his parents were also going back to their house in a car.But suddenly one old lady comes infront of their car and she died on the spot.Then Arnab and his parents went to the police station to tell them what exactly happened.So they tell them that they haven’t killed that old lady purposely.She came right infront of their car and that’s how she got killed.Then after that Arnab along with Police officer went to that old lady’s house which got killed in the accident.They found that she lives in a jungle.After reaching her house they found a girl named Rukhsana, who is chained in the house.Then the girl Rukhsana who’s chained in that house, she along with arnab went to the moor and at there she finds out that her mother is no more.Then after that Arnab takes Rukhsana with himself to drop her back to the jungle from where she came.So he dropped her at a point after that Rukhana says to him that from here she’ll go by herself.So after that within few days Rukhsana went to Arnab’s house as she’s has a feeling that someone is following her and also wants to kill her.She infacts says this to Arnab as well that ’I have a feeling that someone is following me so that he can kill me’.Also Arnab is a kind hearted person.So he helps her by giving space to live in his house.Although Rukhsana’s behaviour is very ill mannered as she lived her whole life in a jungle.Slowly and steadily Rukhsana was really getting fond of Arnab.After that one day Arnab gets to meet a professor.Mind you Professor is the person who’s following Rukhsana and wanted to kill her.So the professor tells Arnab that Rukhsana is a daughter of a spirit.He also tells him that way back 20-22 years ago, on the Indo-Bangladesh border he use to operate the ladies who were impregnated by spirits.After the birth he use to kill the babies so that the spirits blood not be abled to spread into others humans.And he also told Arnab that at that time Rukhsana’s mother was impregnated by a spirit.And before he operates her, she was abled to ran away from him.Slowly-slowly even Arnab has realised that Rukhsana is a child of a spirit or devil.So in the end we will able to find whether the professor ables to kill Rukhsana or not? Also whether what happens to the relationship between Arnab and Piyali & Arnab and Rukhsana.
Talking about the performance, Anushka Sharma as Rukhsana has done exceptional job in the movie.Also Parambrata Chatterjee as Arnab has also done decent job.Rajat Kapoor as Professor has also good job in the movie.
Talking about the music, right from the start the movie is full of horror background music which makes every scene quite scary to watch.
Talking about cinematography, the director Probit Roy has done great job in terms of directing the movie.The screenplay of the movie was nicely done.The visual effects were also very good.
