This film is a masterpiece. I have watched more horror film than any any Indian might have seen ( at least more than 450 films in last 10 years) including Horror-thriller, horror-action, psychological horror, Lovecraftian horror, cosmic horror, horror-gore, terror-genre, etc and anything you ever heard off of this genre. Pari partially belongs to all, but doesn’t solely belong to any. Indian audiences are unique bunch of critics who clap for Hollywood flicks like End of Days or Stigmata or Exorcist the beginning, but find it a joke when a horror movies has Djinn as its theme. Pari is not like 1920 or Haunted 3D. Pari is the best-till-date Indian horror movie and follows the Hollywood-material just like the movie Horror Story.
