A fresh flow of sheer melody

Well.....thruly good music...i having following Moitra’s music since I heard ’’Seekho Na’’ by Subha Mudgal....he has a typical Bengali sweetness in the tunes he produces....almost every song I hear by Moitra it reminds me somehow of some Bengali folk songs or some lullaby.....this is also not an exception.... ....actually I would just review two songs I really liked in this album....the rest someone else could take care off...

Piyu Bole: Fantastic composition.....Sonu excels as always...and Shreya....she is really mesmerising.....just close ur eyes while listening to this and u cud see the love birds singing together in sitting by a Piano gazing in each others eyes...Saif starts with a very natural humming....’’You are mine’’.....and the way Shreya picks up the song from him...and again from Sonu ...she has really graduated into a great singer....specially the way she mixes her inhaling and exhaling sound while singing really adds another natural dimension to the song......during the later part of the song in the first and second antaras the way both Shreay and Sonu makes them voice float...cudos to botth of them and also to Moitra......the use of piano and violins is also noteworthy....it really gives a period effect to the song.....splendidly made....

Soona Mann Ka Aangan: I thought Sonu cud have performed better in this song.....forgetting that another superbly made melodious song.....the music director has superbly mixed Tagore tunes along with his composition.....that’s the trick...there’s nothing borrowing something from other as long as put something of your own and really enhance the musical value of the entire composition.....Legends SD and RD both have done that...specially SD s masterpices many of them lended their tunes from Bengali and Assamese folk songs.....remember ’’Tere Mere Milan ki Yeh Raina’’...that was after all a Tagore tune.....somehow this song will touch your heart...the crooning in Sonu’s voice is really touching.....Moitra has reaaly excelled in the piano and the flute usage....the background humming of Shreya.......

so that’s all from me...this time...get hold of the album today.....the other songs sre also pretty good.....but these two really surpass many boundaries....
