Throughout the history of Bollywood, romcoms have been at the center as the most viewed movies in the Indian industry. Nowadays, romcoms, though they are still watched, are losing their viewers every day. Parineeti Chopra is one of the very very few actresses who keep this genre young, fun, and very much alive, with new and more comical, as well as truly romantic roles. Her acting is at the center of Bollywood and is one of the most highly acclaimed actings. Her role in Hasee Toh Phasee is outstanding. She never breaks character and always keeps the movie fresh, so that it can be enjoyed even if the movie’s plot isn’t that great(Kill Dil). Though Priyanka Chopra might still be the desi girl of India, Parineeti isn’t too far behind and is very steadily catching up to her sister’s(cousin’s) Indian-acting-legacy. She was truly the most promising debut as her movies haven’t flopped once, though some have averaged. Golmaal 4 was one of the highest-earning movies of that year and it can be assumed it was partly(a big part) because of Parineeti’s involvement as the protagonist. So far she hasn’t disappointed in any of her roles, and now that she has 4 upcoming movies, let’s hope she doesn’t disappoint in them either while giving us her best possible performance.
