I am writing this review not to malign the hospital but rather to tell the audience to be prepared of the traps and bad practices at the hospital. I have done my post grad from india premier institute and I understand the meaning of reputation, so I promise that whatever I have written is true
My father got admitted to the hospital on 16th Sep, 15 and was in a much worse condition when I got him discharged on request the next day(thankfully I got him discharged). Now I have summarized in bullet points what all was wrong with the hospital
1) The nursing is absolutely rude and does not care about the patient
2) The drips they administer kept on leaking for full day even after being made aware of that and still the doctors(The CEO of hospital included) say that it was just 2-3 drops. This was shocking as the patient effectively was not at all administered any medicine. It also raises the risk of some air bubble building in the Intra Veinous which can be fatal!
3) The doctors come up to the patient and ask "what is your problem"! They do not check the patient’s file and are absolutely ignorant of the history. There is no coordination amongst the medical staff
4) The doctors themselves say "I do not like the way hospital works as well"!
5) The CEO says "Well I have investigated. But your expectations are very high. I cannot do much without it"
6) Last but not the least, even though the patient was in a bad state, they stopped taking care of patient even I told them the patient needs to be discharged. Also, they still took 3 hours to do the discharge formalities
In the end, we were charged Rs.20, 000 for one day and my father also ended up missing the family function(grand daugghter’s 1st Birthday) just because of this. Deeply saddened by the experience
