As opposed to the previous review - I have to say that my visit to the Hyatt in Goa was a disappointment. The property is lovely... beautifully landscaped with an enormous and luxurious pool. On the flip side the rooms with spa bathrooms were small and not spacious at all. the difference between a park view and a suite wasn’t phenomenal. The rooms are all over the place - very badly placed and designed which restricted accessibility, which makes it difficult when you have children. The idea of have no tubs but spa bathrooms and rainshowers is interesting but was not as exciting as the brochure - but that could be the point of view.
Also, being all about the spa experience, I must warn you that this hotel seems to cater mainly to foreigners - the spa has only ayurvedic treatments - which is sooo yesterday... no balinese massages, no aroma oils - was rather a dull choice.
Other than this downside, they have a lovely menu, a lovely beach and beach bar... good service and all in all it is a great place to go to. But if you are looking for a luxurious experience unlike anyother - the Leela Goa is the one for you.
