Just wanted to share the scenario which happened with me when I was searching a job and came to this advertisement and came shocking reaction of a senior employee towards me
In Ascent, there was an advertisement has been published on 20th June 2012, mentioning some very good profiled openings for Ahmadabad. by going through that advertisement today on 21st June , 2012 I contacted Mr Abhijit Mishra -9099935725 to check whether I should drop in for interview or I should mail my resume as I reside in Baroda, Gujarat. then there were some surprising conversation taken place by which I felt I was being insulted.
I called up him and he asked that what is my background, I told him that I was in sales in travel and tourism in Mumbai and now shifted to Baroda, Gujarat. so he told that have you read newspaper as it was clearly mentioned that they wanted persons from FM CG or TELECOM background. I told him very clearly that is only been written that it would be an ADDED ADVANTAGE, which means its not a MANDATORY, on this told that please don’t waste my time and on this and please don’t call me again , his behaviour was very annoying and surprising like I am talking to a 20 year old guy who recently completed his graduation and got a job in a such big company and he is just showing his powers.
so either the advertisement is wrong or the Personel Mr Abhijit Mishra is not been able to handle the situation smoothly and unfortunately he is messing up the things. He may be in a good position but that doesn’t mean he can behave like this. I got a call for feedback from 2 people , but then nothing has been done till date.
