Adding to my earlier review, I had traveled from Trichy to Chennai on 20th April 2014 in Mercedes Benz Multi Axle which comes from Madurai to Chennai via Trichy. Bus was scheduled to depart Trichy at 3:30pm. As expected a little delay, the bus came at 3:45pm. Bus started immediately. I really enjoyed the ultimate comfort in the bus. As they wrote on the side of the bus "Mercedes Benz. Travel with the star", I felt really like Traveling with the star.As usual, the bus was driven at a constant speed. Didnt feel any discomfort. And they stopped in a very good restaurant for refreshing. Finally I had to alight at Vandalur Gate. I informed the driver the same. He immediately agreed and stopped at Vandalur Gate. Some of the operators will not stop the bus wherever the passenger asks to alight. But here they stopped. Once again I felt good to travel in Parveen Travels. I finally found an alternative for KPN Travels. The basic difference between KPN and Parveen is their attitude towards the passenger. Parveen still feels Customer is the King. Great. Keep it up.
Once I had to travel to Kulithalai from Chennai with my wife. I generally travel in KPN. But this was the first experience with Parveen, about which I was little worried earlier. Bus reached the boarding point at Perungalathur at 10:30pm after 1 hour delay. I was worried about the amenities. But water bottle and blanket were given immediately after boarding. Driver drove the bus in a very constant moderate speed(may be around 80kmph). A/c was never switched off but kept in a very moderate temperature. We slept very comfortably. They stopped in a descent place for urinals.
Exactly at 4:45am, we alighted at Kulithalai. The cleaner wished us good morning with a warm smile. Never experienced this earlier. With this one fact, I cant decide entire Parveen group’s attitude. But the cleaner was a good gentleman. Generally cleaners and drivers keep a grumpy face as if they r transporting us for free of cost in other travels, even if u pay more hundreds. All I want to say is that my overall experience with Parveen was too good. Hoping that the same will be maintained, I booked a ticket from Trichy to Chennai in 20th April 2014 in Mercedes Benz. I will write my review after traveling.
And one final thing, ticket price is cheap when compared with KPN. KPN charges Rs.650 to Rs.730 in Multiaxle Volvo for Chennai Trichy route. But Parveen charges Rs.580 for same route in Multiaxle Mercedes Benz.
