Stanley Kunitz : An extraordinary Poet !

About Poet:- Stanley Jasspon Kunitz was the man who has written this great Book” Passing Through”. He was a world class poet and Stanley was the master of contemporary poetry. He was Robert Frost Medal and National Book Award’s Winner. He has died on 14th May 2006, that time he was 100 years old. This book was published in the year 1995 when Stanley was 90 years old.

Overview / About Book:- Passing Through: The Later Poems is a very great collection of contemporary poems. His wonderful poems remind us that ‘Art is the chalice into which we pour the wine of transcendence.’ This book also contains some poems which were already published in the year 1971 in his another book. Passing Through is a  small book but it have very vast and meaningful poems, which can definitely touch your heart. It was mentioned in his poems that he was very lonely and his loneliness shown in each poem. But I think he was brave and an extraordinary person because writing poems in the age of 90 is not an act of a common person.

I would recommend this book to you because this book is very popular and also a collection of contemporary poetry. Especially I would recommend this amazing book to one who likes and loves Poetry.

So overall, I am giving this Four stars out of five stars.
