I have purchased this DVD player last year (Oct 2008) as it was the cheapest and supporting most of the media and codecs I wanted to have. It is running flowless for almost a year.
It is used extensively by my two year old daugher to watch her cartoon and stories VCD by Fountain media. That keeps her busy for almost one to two hours a day. I have used the pen drives for viewing some copied media from my desktop and it works upto 2gb limitations, my 8gb pendrive doesn’t work with it.
Build quality is OK, remote seems to be very fragile, but so far it has been working without problems.
For me it best worked with data CD or DVD’s as I do lot of videos on my digital cam and they can be just dragged to data CD/DVD and viewed on my DVD player.
To summerise it is best value for money, as the tech get’s outdated in a years time and spending heavily on DVD players from big brands proves suicidal. I am free to buy a new DVD player as and when it conks up with saved money last year while purchasing it.
