I applied to PSK for police clearance certificate. But unfortunately I didn’t get an appointment for an earlier date in thane so chose Nasik. Well before coming to Nasik, I used the document checker to confirm what documents are required and took printouts, took leave from work and booked my tickets to Nasik.Only to learn that:
- If you have an indian passport issued from a foreign country, the address in
Ur passport is not considered as a valid address proof.
Bank statements from reputed private banks like hdfc, icici are also not valid. They want to see your passbook from sbi or any other govt bank(where everything is manual or handwritten and chances of err is high)
Telephone(fixed landline) bills from airtel etc does not work. They want phone bills only from bsnl or mtnl
So if you wanna submit these documents, u have to travel all the wayto nasik again. As if u have no work
Overall, the staff is pathetic and think that we r "vellas". Whats the point of having this "semi automatic" online form application?
