Filled application online and got appointment @ Madurai PSK for passport renewal with address change in the same city and spouse name inclusion. I had ration card and voter ID. But in both door numbers are not matching(in ration card door number 100/A/18/2 and in voter ID door number was 100 only. Asked agents, everyone was telling different stories, mostly negative like it will be rejected and telling to get bank statement with photo sealed and signed. ICICI bank will seal and sign but not in photo.
Went to psk @madurai and they told everything is fine, proof accepted were ration card and voter id and address in ration card will be address in passport. I asked for tatkal passport, but they told normal renewal itself will be done in a week. But got passport on 4th day!
Good progress in passport processing.
