Patanjali Neem& Tulsi Face Wash comes in a sturdy, white tube with a flip top lid. It is of convenient size and I love carrying it with me whilst traveling. It is yellow-ish green in color with a mild scent that is slightly artificial.Neem-Tulsi face wash is a soap-free herbal formulation. Its gentle cleansing action controls moisture and natural balance of the skin. Neem& Tulsi kills germs while honey& aloe moisturize and rejuvenate the skin tissues, to make complexion fresh, smooth and beautiful. It also helps to prevent pimples.This face wash is white in color. The consistency is slightly thick, creamy and smooth. Consistency is exactly like the foaming face washes by Olay. It lathers up really well and a very small amount is sufficient to work up a rich lather for cleaning the neck and face. It has an orangey, herbal smell which it quite pleasant, refreshing and mild. I don’t think even people with sensitive noses should have a problem with this type of fragrance.
It’s a product whose purpose can be served by a normal soap, but face wash is suitable for the facial skin because soaps can be harsh on our face. They can cause misbalance to the pH level. So face wash was discovered to serve this purpose which soaps cannot do. That is why it’s important to use a face wash for our facial skin. These days numerous face washes are available for a particular skin condition. Choosing the right one is a very important to overcome the skin problems. I always rely upon herbal products as I have had good experience with them and they don’t harm the skin because of their herbal formulation. When I talk about herbal products, the brand that I love is Patanjali. Recently when my Patanjali Neem Aloe Vera Face Wash got over, I bought Patanjali Neem& Tulsi Face Wash. I am even using an acne treatment kit which I will be reviewing soon. So anything with the term’Neem’ attracts my attention because it is great for acne-prone skin and summer season too. That is the only reason I purchased this face wash and I am going to share my views on it today.
I simply take small amount of face wash and massage it onto my face with gentle hands. It lathers nicely and feels great on skin. It washes away quickly without leaving residue behind. Though the scent is artificial but it makes me feel fresh and awake. I have oily skin and it feels smooth and thoroughly clean. It gives a healthy glow to my skin. I do not feel the immediate urge to moisturize my skin but if you have combination you might feel the need to moisturize the skin right after the wash. As I said it thoroughly cleanses the skin, it prevents pimples and acne from occurring and combats existing ones too! The face wash contains all good ingredients that are boon for oily skin- neem, tulsi and aloe vera.
