How to Test the Genuineness of a Honey

How to check the genuineness of a Honey:

1.A Pure honey will not mix in water, experiment by taking a tea spoon of honey in a half cup of water and try to stir.

2.Pure honey will burn: if the honey burns with crackling sound indicates the sugar presence.

3.Tissue Test: take a tissue paper, not a very soft one, sprinkle some drops and if it gets absorbed quickly that indicates the presence of water.

I believe that no honey brand is 100% pure it do contains sugar but whats best is chosen based on how low the sugar levels are and you can test them by simple experiment.

I use honey in green tea and I got one from Pathanjali today, initially I doubted if this is a genuine one because of the price tag it offers, I came across two brands of 500gm pathanjali for 135 Rupees and Uttarakhand one at 250 Rupees, I have always used the Dabur Honey, I thought of giving it a try and its good one. I used two products from Pathanjali, the rose water and aloe vera gel, I really wonder how Pathanjali are making profit, it offers all the products at a very cheaper and all that I used are actually good, and would suggest it to friends.
