Patanjali has lately become an established FMCG brand in India, so customers are yet to expect fairly value for money products lately. Ill try to sum this up fairly easy, and will try to share my personal experience. to be honest Patanajalis Kesh kanti Anti dandruff shampoo claims to provide dandruff free hair and free from flaking scalp with moderate to daily use, daily use is what recommended by the instructions provided on the label. Patanjali claims this product is an ayurvedic product with natural ingredients such as neem, lemon and nilgiri to eliminate flaking. The claims may or may not be true but the ingredients dont seem to work like the claims offered by the company. I tried using the shampoo for a complete week and ill quote my experience below
Wash 1- Clean scalp with stoppage in flaking but after 6 hours I felt hair structure to be little rough than usual.
Wash 2- Flaking under control for 5-6 hours, hair structure rougher than earlier.
Wash 3- no changes in flaking, no long lasting effect observed
Wash 4- Usual results, with very rough hair and no stoppage in flaking.
I thought maybe my scalp was not suitable for the product and my verdict was very earlier to come up on a decision so I decided give this product an another go and with no properties of anti-dandruff shown, I realized mild hairfall due to excess dry scalp after regular use. At this point I clearly understood, this product did not proved useful for me.
Fragrance of a shampoo is very personal and may change from person to person, I personally did not liked the neem and nilgiri fragrance, I felt it was just too strong for my taste. but it may not be confined to my personal choice and may vary.
I didnt observed any descriptive after effect of the product and with result I found with this product I fear, I cant recommend you to go forward and use it already.
