There are many varieties of Marie Biscuits in the market and most of them come with less wheat and more maida. This is where Patanjali Marie stands apart. It comes with zero maida, trans-fat and cholesterol and more fiber. the good thing about these biscuits are that they are free from chemicals or other harmful ingredients and help in supplying water content to the body. Priced at Rs. 12 for a 100g pack Patanjali is also more affordable than other digestive marie brands available on the biscuit rack. The Consumer Voice report lists Divss, Patanjali and Priya Gold(in that order) as the three marie biscuit brands with the highest percentage of dietary fibre. If it is given to the children, it supplements nutritious elements and water contents in the body. It also adds to the energy level to the body. It is easily digestible even for children and beneficial in constipation and stomach diseases. It has honey, which helps in strengthening brain power. The product promises a decent amount of Dietary Fibre(5%-10% of days recommended intake). The biscuit has a unique taste and doesnt taste like the conventional Marie. Its crispier than its competitors and teams up well with tea or coffee. Its low on sugar and calorie intake making it ideal for diet conscious consumers. However, if you are the kind of customer who gets taken in by the appearance, aroma, taste, texture, and aftertaste, Patanjali does not figure high here. Probably one reason could be that it has the lowest sugar content among the seven brands evaluated and the second-lowest fat content after McVities. The packaging is average and isnt attractive enough to stand out on the display rack. Overall Patanjali Marie stands a chance to gain customer preference because of its good quality and comparatively low pricing. Thumbs up to Patanjali Marie!
